Just wanted to give you guys a quick tip about online dating:
If you or someone you know is always saying “I’m tired of being single” but doing nothing about it…..join an online dating site. Pick anyone.
If you think it costs too much, simply cut back on other things in your personal life. Don’t go out to lunch (when you are at work) on Fridays.
Instead pack a lunch.
Make it a point to send no less than 3 emails a day for 2 weeks straight. Playing the odds game, sooner or later you will meet someone you click with. Right now the online dating sites are experiencing a tremendous upswing in new members. This is partly due to the economy (NY Times had a recent article about how the online dating sites are experiencing huge membership levels due to the economy) and partly due to the fact that the weather is getting a bit colder and those that are single are starting to realize they had better get on the proverbial ball if they want to meet someone in time for the upcoming holiday season. Nothing sucks more than to be by yourself on the holidays (trust me, I know).
If you are looking for a specific online dating site, check out the reviews in the right hand corner. Each site that has online dating has their own particular strengths and weaknesses. One this is for sure….your chances at finding someone are almost 25 times greater with online dating than it is by going out to the bars or hoping for a chance encounter out in public.

I have to agree on this one….About this time last year I joined Match.com and used their 3 day free trial and met my current boyfriend.
Prior to joining online dating, I was going out to bars with my girlfriends every weekend and met the same old stale crowd of guys.
