Scroll down and read my post about “Great-Expectations.com”. I had mentioned that the one thing that sets their service apart from all of the other online dating sites is that they offer live, one-on-one guidance from dating coaches to help you maximize your chances of meeting (and attracting) the person of your dreams.

That got me thinking….since I am an active member of eHarmony.com, why don’t they offer dating guidance and support?
Duh !! I quickly remembered that when I first signed up, I also bought the Finding the Love of your Life - CD Relationship Coaching Series from eHarmony

It was a worthwhile investment on my part because Dr. Warren is not just the gentle spokesperson/co-founder of eHarmony. He is first off and foremost a world-renowned Theologist, Pastor and Psychologist (and here I thought the Bachelor and JD degree hanging on my wall was impressive….imagine having all those credentials hanging in your office !!). He has authored many books on dating and self help such as:

* God Said It, Don’t Sweat It
* Finding Contentment
* Finding the Love of Your Life
* Catching the Rhythm of Love
* Make Anger Your Ally
* How to Know if Someone is Worth Pursuing in Two Dates or Less

So I knew that my investment in his CD Coaching series was going to be worthwhile. The entire CD coaching set is a series of compact discs in which Dr. Warren explains (among other things) how to understand why your relationships did not work out in the past and when to end a relationship that is not healthy (we all could use a good lesson here) as well as how to tell whether or not the person you are dating is the right one for you. I have a busy professional life, and I started the course by popping in a cd into my car stereo and then listening to it on the way into work (If you live in LA, then you know how much of a nightmare the 405 fwy can be at rush hour). Little by little, I began to understand and see myself in a way that I had not previously thought of before.

The CD Coaching series presents common-sense, easy to follow, every day advice. I think the biggest thing I learned was that in every area that I am different from my partner, there is the potential for conflict. The key to a successful and happy marriage/relationship is to find someone that shares as many qualities as you do. Even before I joined eHarmony, I have always suspected there was a half-truth in this. I was shocked that the coaching series confirmed my suspicions. In fact, a few other theories that I had were subsequently confirmed by the series.

If you find yourself failing time and time again in relationships, or you just wish to figure out “what in the heck is going on here” then I would advise you to pick up this CD Coaching series. If you would like to view his other books then you check out the Relationship books by eHarmony.com founder Dr. Neil Clark Warren.
