Match.com and Yahoo Personals Partner Up – No more Yahoo Personals
Match.com recently partnered with Yahoo Personals to bring the Match.com experience (and membership) to Yahoo Personals.
According to the press release this is going to be a long term deal where over the next 2 months, Yahoo Personals accounts will be migrated to Match.com.
Over the past year or so, Yahoo Personals has really taken a down turn in my opinion. I have seen so many “fake” spammer accounts on there. They put up a picture of a hot girl then ask you to email them. Once you do, you are sent nothing but spam. I was expecting Yahoo to be bought out by Match and this partnership may be the first step along that path.
I had an idea that Yahoo Personals was on the decline back in October of 2009, but did not have anything concrete to bring back to the blog to prove it.
If you signed up for Yahoo Personals recently, be prepared for a huge influx of new members to check out and date as Match.com integrates their database with the Yahoo Personals database.
I’m willing to bet that Yahoo Personals will be completely bought out by Match.com in 6 months to a year.

Adieu Yahoo Personals…..you were responsible for introducing to me the two hottest chicks I have ever dated in my life. A 5’10 blond/blue Polish gal with a perfect body and another beautiful blond girl (both of which, I completely dropped the ball and screwed up the relationship). Well I take that back…..I think the Polish gal was a tad bit bi-polar, so yeah. The other cute blond girl dumped me because I was being a typical dumbass male.
