How to Wear Sexy Lingerie

If you’re reading the title of this article, you’re probably thinking: ‘what is she talking about?’. Of course, there are no special preparations you have to do, so why would you need to learn how to wear sexy lingerie? The answer is you don’t. Basically we’re going to tell you how to wear lingerie to make yourself feel sexy in front of your significant other. Guys, this will be helpful to you if you shop for lingerie for your ladies (and trust me, the ladies like that).
First things first, ladies– and guys– you all know what body part(s) you like most. All you really need to do is highlight those parts or make them stand out. If you’ve got killer legs go for boy shorts or garter belts. If you’ve got a big bust then you know you’ll need support so bras/tops with that built in or corsets will help you in that department. If you’ve got hips galore go for those cute, frilly types of things like chemises that will give you that teasing bit of slit. Teddies suit girls with athletic figures just like negligees suit big girls.
The next thing is type of materials. If you’re not as comfortable with showing skin then get opaque lingerie. If you’re more voluptuous then certain materials like spandex or anything that clings tightly won’t work for you. See through lingerie works for slim people. Lingerie comes in many types of materials so you’ve got a lot to choose from, if in doubt go for lace, silk or satin. However, what ever you buy, make sure you choose quality over quantity– this rule applies to many things in life but we’ll make it the first and most important rule regarding lingerie. Lingerie of good quality might be expensive but will serve you well and last you a long time, the cheap stuff won’t.
Next we have color. It needs to do something for the wearer; whether it brings out your eyes or flatters your skin tone, color is important. Darker skin tones should go for brighter, jewel toned colors while paler skin will look good in complete contrasts (black, red) or very light colors. If you want to look slimmer go for dark colors that are fluttery. The colors you pick are important because without the right colors you lose some of the effect– it’s like eating a sandwich with no condiments, it’s still good but not as good as it could be.
Another thing that helps your lingerie work for you is keeping it interesting. Remove parts or add parts (gloves, masks, boots etc.). Go braless one day under a robe. Keep your partner guessing or make new looks with it, have fun. A little edible body glitter also never hurt anyone.
Here’s your chance to ask any questions on how to wear lingerie or what type of lingerie will make you look sexy.
