I went out to a bar last week with a few of my buddies
and the topic of meeting women came up (as it most usually
does when you get 5 single guys together on a Friday night
for a few rounds). We decided to come up with new and
novel ways of meeting women, outside the realms of where
you would normally expect to meet them. We first thought
about the “regular places” where a single guy might expect
to meet a girl:

Bars
Coffee shops
Supermarkets
Through friends
At work

We then came up with ideas that were a bit “outside the box”.
Some of them were a bit off the wall, for example:

Hang out at a male strip club and crash a bachelorette party.

While you technically could do this….yeeeaaah. Just for the
record, we are all a bit worried about the guy that came up
with that idea. In the meantime, here are 5 slightly less
homoerotic ideas on how to meet new women:

1. Move to a new neighborhood.

Chances are that when you moved into the apartment/
neighborhood that you currently live in, you did not take
into consideration the availability of single women in that
area. What could be more convenient that a couple of single
hot girls living within a 30 second walk of your front door?
I just moved from what most people consider a “family area”
down to the beach. Why? Because that area is crawling
with single females and by simply moving down there I
have increased my chances ten-fold of meeting a female.
Although my rent has climbed about $500 a month, my
penis just looked up at me and smiled. It’s a tradeoff.

2. Online dating site.

When most guys join an online dating site, they
tend to stop looking for a new girl in real life, and rely
solely upon the online dating site. My advice is to do
both. Join an online dating site, but don’t let it be the
end-all to your search for a new girl. You really need to
be careful when taking this route. If you join the wrong
site, you are only wasting your time and money. Each
online dating site is catered to people who are looking for a
common goal. Some sites are dedicated to people looking for
love while others are geared more towards the “no strings
attached” crowd. I would advise you to first check out an
online dating reviews site before you sign up. These sites
review the various online dating programs out there and can
give you a overall sense of whether or not it is the right one
for you.

3. Airports

I was at LAX on my way to Vegas about a month ago.
I had my laptop with me (it is surgically attached to my lap)
and was on the internet. A smoking hot blonde sat down
next to me and she was chatting away on the phone while
on her laptop. She was probably in her mid 30’s. After she
got off the phone she leaned over and asked me how I was
getting the internet in the airport. That was all I needed and
a few minutes later I had her phone number and the name
of the hotel she was staying at. While I was on the plane,
two women sat down next to me (it is of prime importance
to get a window seat when you fly…read on to see why).
When we landed the pilot announced we had arrived in
Vegas and all people who were connecting to the next
destination in Indiana should stay seated. As the
passengers were disembarking, I stood up and asked the
lady next to me if she “was getting off”. Her exact response
(with a sly smile on her face) was: “hopefully several
times tonight”.

Sometimes, I really have my work cut out for me….

4. Jogging paths

I live down by the beach. I go for a 5 mile run every evening.
On any given night I see at least 2-3 girls that look like they
are open to a guy approaching them to talk. If you don’t live
by the beach, then go to your local high school to take a run
in the evening hours. If you aren’t that physically fit, then just
walk around the track in the opposite direction that everyone
else is running/walking in. Yes, you will get many dirty looks,
and perhaps one muscle-bound meathead might kick your ass,
but at least this way you can make direct eye contact with all
of the females getting their exercise on. A simple smile should
be all that it takes….

5. Target.

Women LOVE Target. I am pretty sure there are Target
stores throughout the country. If there are not Targets in
your area, then you might have to settle for Walmart. (just
be sure to bring your Walmart Bingo Card with you for
hours of entertainment). On any given day at any given
hour in any given Target you can find countless women.
Picking up women at Target is the next evolutionary step
to picking up women at a supermarket. In fact, you don’t
even have to goto Target. Any place that sells women’s
items will work. Victoria’s Secret or a clothing store are
also good places to meet women. All you will have to do
is compliment how good the girl will look in whatever clothing
item she is considering purchasing. About a year ago, I
was at Big Lots and was walking in the aisles and smiled
at a pretty cute girl and then walked on by. A few minutes
later I noticed that she was stalking me (what girl is
interested in car-care products, then immediately follows
me into the cheap beer section). Take advantage of
situations like these because these are the places women
LEAST expect to get some guy trying to pick them up at,
and as such they are not on guard like they would be at a
local bar on a Friday night.
